A few years later, I noticed something surprising: there wasn't a single job board dedicated exclusively to tech jobs in the northeastern U.S, despite it being a rich and populous region. Platforms like BuiltIn, LinkedIn, and WellFound might start with a regional focus, but they inevitably scale to nationwide or even international audiences, leaving local job seekers underserved.

That's why I created Northeastern.dev. Born out of frustration and a commitment to transparency, our mission is simple: to connect tech workers with high-quality, real job opportunities as soon as they're posted—while staying laser-focused on the northeast.
