Systems Engineer II

Requirements:

• a. Bachelor of Science (BS) in engineering
• b. Experience assisting in defining and executing systems engineering activities within a project
• c. Experience with system specification documentation (SSD) and planning
• d. Familiarity with information security planning
• e. Geospatial design and management
• f. Familiarity with performance management
• g. Experience with capacity planning
• h. Experience testing, validation, risk assessment, and benchmarking
• i. Experience with information engineering, and development
• j. Ability to closely coordinate with programmers
• k. Minimum of 5 years software engineering or programming or equivalent
• l. Ability to pass a Tier 1 (Formerly NACI or level 1) U.S. government background Investigation

Preferences:

• m. Possesses technical writing skills
• n. Able to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and network topologies
• o. Experience working in agile development environment
• p. Familiar with Smartsheet, Lucid Charts, Google Workplace, and Microsoft 365 Office
• q. Able to travel within U.S.
• r. Understands fundamental mechanical, electrical, computing, and networking concepts
